Loja XIAOMI Vitoria Espaillat is located in Santo Domingo, Brazil. This small eatery offers the most authentic Chinese food from China and that’s what makes it really special. Since it started in 2001, this small restaurant has expanded to several other locations in the surrounding neighborhoods. This means that it could get very busy at times, so bring along food with you or enjoy the beautiful scenery outside.
The ambiance of this restaurant is quiet traditional and charming. The spacious dining area is set out with a formal dining area and a small alfresco living space. The food is delicious and the prices are definitely affordable, which makes this the best place to take friends or family on a nice break. They have several different meals available to taste, which are all created from the best ingredients. The main dishes consist mainly of Chinese beef and duck, although you can also find vegetarian dishes and even seafood next door.
I was here for dinner last week with my boyfriend, and we decided to try loja xiaomi vitoria es buffet. I had the beef loin, broccoli florets, broccoli mushrooms, beef and duck spring rolls, beef stew, and the mom made corn tortillas. Everything looked great and came out delicious, but I think that the mom put way too much cilantro in the soup. I also noticed that there were quite a few glasses of red wine and champagne that went into the buffet, which could make you a little sensitive to the spices. For starters, I would recommend trying the beef loin as an entree, because of the wonderful texture. It wasn’t dry or too oily, just cooked well and with a nice flavor.
The next dish was the duck salad which was also great. It had duck egg tofu, peanuts, carrots, and corn. It wasn’t too spicy and has a sweet and salty combination that was very tasty. If you’re not a fan of tofu, this place definitely has another option. The seafood gumbo was okay, but again, could use some more spice to it. It wasn’t too heavy either so it could be a good place for someone who doesn’t like to heavy food.
The final dish that we tried was the lamb Shanko. This was the only entree that we weren’t mouths watering and wasn’t too spicy. The meat was well cooked and had a nice flavor. The portions are very small, but this place offers some of the best Asian food you’ll get while in San Miguel de Allende. I don’t know why they don’t offer more dishes other than these three, but they are really good.
Overall, this is a great place to eat if you are in the mood for Chinese food. There are so many dishes here that you won’t have to eat just Chinese food all day. This is definitely a place that you should try when in the area. I highly recommend this place if you visit the area because they truly are some of the best Asian food you will be able to find while in San Miguel de Allende.
